Playing
Is GlobeQuizz free?
Yes. You can play 3 games a day without an account, 10 a day with a free account, and the Daily Challenge every day on top of that. Premium removes the daily limit.
Which quizzes are there?
Flags, capitals, official languages, currencies, country outlines, Pin Drop on a 3D globe, and a mixed quiz that combines the first five. Each one can be filtered by region (including the Arab World, the Gulf and the Maghreb) and played on Easy or Hard.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Ten questions that travel across one region, the same for everyone on the same day (UTC). You get one attempt, it never counts towards your daily limit, and the result screen draws today’s route on a map. Find it on the Daily Challenge page.
How are points counted?
100 points for a correct answer, up to 50 more for speed, and a streak bonus for correct answers in a row. The Compass hint removes two wrong options for 40 points. The best possible game scores 1,850, or 1,350 in Relaxed, which has no timer and no speed bonus. Our guides explain it in full.
What changes on Hard?
The wrong options are chosen to confuse: neighbouring countries, flags that look alike and names that sound alike, such as Niger and Nigeria.
Why do I see names in two languages?
Every fact card shows the country's name in Arabic and English, so each answer also teaches you the other name. You can switch the whole site between Arabic and English at any time.
Account and progress
Why create an account?
A free account gives you 10 games a day instead of 3, and keeps your XP, level, rank, day streak and personal bests on every device. Sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes: you must be at least 13 to create an account. Anyone can play as a guest.
How do levels and ranks work?
Every finished game earns XP: one point per 10 points scored, 15 per star and 20 for your first game of the day. Your level follows your XP, and ranks run from Traveler to Ibn Battuta at level 50.
What is a day streak?
The number of days in a row on which you finished at least one game, counted in your own time zone. Miss a day and it starts again from one; your best streak is kept.
How do I download my data or delete my account?
Both buttons are on your account page. Deleting removes your profile, games and personal bests at once.
Premium and payments
What does Premium include?
Unlimited games every day and your full game history kept for good, while supporting an independent project. It costs $1.99 a month or $9.99 a year.
Does Premium remove ads?
No. Ads keep the free version running, so Premium keeps them for now. An ad-free option may come later.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, from “Manage subscription” on your account page or the link in your receipt email. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. The refund policy covers refunds.
Who handles the payment?
Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle processes your card, charges the right tax for your country and sends your receipt. We never see your full card details.

What do you store about me?
As a guest, only a few settings and scores in your own browser. With an account, your email address, display name, game results and progress. The privacy policy lists everything.
